"When Life Comes At You Fast"

Recently I have watched friends go through the 'often' daily challenges of life....
from the mundane to the tragic.

Which end of the spectrum are you during this 'festive' season??

Rolling along?
Muddling through?
Barely surviving?

Here is what is true, regardless..

Deep within each of us lay a reservoir....
Hopefully sustaining  us when other sources become depleted.
What lies within this deep gulf, are the substances with which we either survive and thrive or languish in despair.

When we are weary and worn..from the daily onslaught of life...
When we find our self forgotten in our pain...while the world celebrates...
When life seems chaotic, and we feel especially alone..

We become intensely aware of what is in our reservoir.

Within this great pool we can find the stuff that gets us through the mundane and the tragic.
But whether we survive or languish
Is completely dependent upon what in our reservoir.

When life comes at you fast!!!
Remember to look inside.
Are you prepared to survive and thrive?

What do you see
when you look within...
that brings "life" to your life?

Application:
Truth brings hope!
God's Truth reminds us that we always have Him and we always have hope.
It reminds us that there is nothing that "man" can take from us, until it is first sifted.
It reminds us that our future is 'safely guarded, regardless of life's circumstances.
His eternal truth moves us through and indeed past the moments that seek to irritate and especially the moments that seek to suffocate.
We will survive and thrive when we fill our reservoir with Him.

Begin filling your reservoir by committing your way and your mind to Him.

(Let's begin with Phillipians chapter 1)
You will be glad you did...
