"What Are You Soaking In?"

Are you living in riot soaked soil or peace soaked soil?

It is in the practical every day life that our Father calls us to 'be still'.
The soil of our lives becomes rich with growth when we allow Him to grow us up.

Our days are often hurried, rushed and haphazardly lived.
It is these days and even this day that He is calling us to
"be still and know that He is God."
Psalm 46:10

When we take our first moments of a new day and center our hearts and minds on Him, it is in that very breath of stillness that we begin the process of being rooted and growing up in Him.

A calmness comes over our decisions and peace washes over the results.

We see then that regardless of the riotous day the world will surely offer, our quickened response has been slowly soaked in the peace of Christ that will rule our hearts in the new day.

Colossians 3:15
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."

Remember:
It is still your call to stop what you are doing and invite Him to be Lord over your moments.

Application:
Regardless of what life is offering in this very time of a hurried existence;
Choose...
'to be still and know He is God'

It is then, you will find your roots are able to begin doing exactly what they are meant to do, when placed in good soil.
