Chocolate

I'm not giving up...Some days I feel like it..But I am not giving in, to the desire to give up!

I have always thought I don't want to look back at my life and wish I would have.....

I have been flying the skies for just over 22 years. I am starting to wonder what else might be in store...........During that time I have been blessed beyond to have the opportunity to lead worship for about 5 years and also a drama team of very talented people of all ages. Each experience as taught me a little more about me. Some of my lessons were a little impromptu....as I sang the wrong words or lost focus and once even showed up with a winter sweater on inside out and backwards,,(fortunately someone loved me enough to say something...)
Through all of that I realized over and over...twas,"not about me!!"

Drama was always fun,,,just like Forest Gump's box of chocolates, you never knew what you were going to get...but it was always good in the end..
Last year I started selling Jewelry...that is still new to me, but so far has been right up my personality alley!
I have also been substituting teaching in the grade schools..

One day a darling little 1st grader came running up to me,

gave me the biggest hug and told me how much I smelled just like his Grandmother's
dog!!
Wow, I was so surprised, but I accepted his sweet  little words and smile as a compliment...

and I assumed he just 'loved' Grammy's doggy...I know I surely would!! After all we must use the same groomer or something...

At any rate I'm not giving up!!...I think my next venture is to continue to fly and write for a while...and then down the road, become a full fledged writer..
I think I'll grab a some of those fancy little chocolates and just see what I get...I always do write better when I am eating chocolates (or something sweet;)..So, here's to...writers writing!!...and if this doesn't pan out...I can always land a job taste testing at the world's finest chocolates !!
