"Approval Addict"

You alone God, are my sufficiency.

Have you ever found yourself looking to others for approval? When I was younger, this was especially true. I often found myself toiling over what others thought of me.

As I have grown. I have learned to look to God and His Word for my sufficiency. I have learned that my self worth comes from the very One who formed me in the womb. He had a plan for me before I could understand that I was even alive., or that I was made for a purpose.

The more we focus on Him, the less we fall into the trap of approval addiction.

"How precious to me are your thoughts Oh God. If I were to count them, they would outnumber the sands of the sea."-Psalm 139:18

What a glorious thought-to know that God, who made you....literally has you on His mind.
He greets you with the light of a new day.
Then, He graciously allows your head to rest at the setting of the sun.
Every moment has been carefully crafted 'just for you'.

"What is man that Thou are mindful of Him?" -Psalm 8:4

How can we release our need for a stamp of approval from others??

Simply, by drawing close to the One Who knows you best and loves you the most...
