The day is cold and gray...
Apparently it will continue...in many little corners of the world..
Sometimes there is an iciness that invades our hearts. It seeps in,...seemingly from no where. I wonder where it comes from?
How can one day seem like a good day and another seem so different, even though we have the same set of circumstances?
Every moment is new...you can take them and run ...or you can step back, re-think and re-evaluate.
So, let's do that...take a step back, discipline yourself to look up and away.
As ice is melted with warmth...
So is perspective changed with a vision.
Allow God to take a gray day and warm you with His vision of your future.
Your future was planned with you in mind....If you are feeling a little icy and a little unloved or know someone who does....remember this..
He is your very present help, in a time of need (Psalm 46:1)...(or even in a time of abundance)...
Pray this as your own, and just let Him love on you..for a little while..and feel the iciness melt away under the warmth of His Love..
It's okay...., take a moment to just let Him love you..
Remember no one else can decide how you feel..
the world may come at you hard and fast, but God is your source of contentment.
Father God...
I come before Your throne and ask that You, surround me...
with the comfort that only You can give.
I have been created for a mighty purpose..
You have placed within me eyes to look toward the heavens, from which WILL come my help...
You have placed within me a heart that loves YOU..
Remind me Lord,
that You have loved me.... since before....time began..
and You will NOT leave me now.
Fill me with the peace of Your Presence..
and be my God...
My comfort..
and my portion...
You ARE AMAZING...
Psalm 118:5- 9 "When hard pressed,.....I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
The Lord is with me; he is my helper.
I look in triumph on my enemies.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in princes."
When you need some Love, always look first to the Source and then at your circumstance....
