"Dancing In His Reign"

Interesting to me, how our "problems" can seem so overwhelming until we hear of something far more grievous.
There is a reason we can often recall exactly where we were when tragedy strikes.

"Where were you when???" is a question easily answered in compelling details...when we remember events that have shaken us to our core.
I believe it is an awakened perspective that pulls us from the daily chores of life....that cause us to remember so vividly.
It is this same perspective that begs the question...
that often follows a current, startling and often disturbing event.

"What was I so worried about?"

This renewed perspective brings us back to center.
We begin to appreciate with renewed enthusiasm our own set of life's circumstances. We recognize with a greater clarity how very blessed we are.

So rather then mulling through our days in discontent.
Let's choose to be thankful for the ordinary...the mundane..the quiet..the same ole'  same ole'..

As we enter this season of 'thanksgiving'. Let us make a commitment to verbally express our gratitude.
Commit now, to be thankful!!

Instead of wondering, what was I so worried about?

Consider instead, what we are so thankful for.

It is in this moment..that we will find peace in our heart.

A thankful heart will always usher His grace and power into our lives.

In our gratitude, we will find ourselves lifted from discouraged to encouraged.
When we count our blessings, and begin to name them one by one,
we will finally find ourselves "dancing in His Reign".

Psalm 30:11-12
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing;
Thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness;
That my soul may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to Thee forever.
