'We Interrupt This Program'

It was early on a Monday morning on a warm day in August.
Once again, I found myself sitting in a leather bound seat on an airplane.
A smooth and seamless takeoff afforded the majestic view of layers of clouds giving way to a glorious sunrise.

I exhaled. The exhaustion of the previous week began to soak into my memory.

Sometimes laboring into a new day can feel like an endless cycle, unless we intentionally interrupt the thought process.
Our Father tells us simply to take every thought captive.
and bring them to Christ.

As we look out over this new day and new week, we will have endless opportunities to capture the moments.

The aggravations.
The fears.
The worries.

The thoughts.
The smiles.
The hope.


'His mercy is new every morning' 
His Word is fresh and anointed.

Breathe in...
Breathe out....
Focus on His Word,
as He whispers to your soul and a new day gives way.


Philippians 4:6-8

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.


Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
